Imagine the heartbreak of our street teams having to tell a little girl we had no place for her. Then there were times when if you didn't have a place where you could effect an immediate rescue, you could lose the child.
For years we dreamed of having a house where we could care for and disciple young girls who are in situations of risk here in the city of Recife.
At last God has made the dream become a reality.
This is Casa Sarah or Sarah's house. The name Sarah is a Hebrew baby name and in Hebrew the meaning of the name Sarah is, Princess.
In the Bible, Sarah was the wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac. Her name was originally Sarai, but God commanded that her name be changed to Sarah before the birth of her son.
So we are grateful to God for this house where we can care for His little princesses. As the Lord said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'
